2022 Elizabeth Rose Grenache "LDR"

Grenache is made from Ghost Block's organically farmed Block House Vineyard. This 292-acre vineyard contains only 1-acre of grenache that was planted in 2003. These vines are trained to bilateral cordons with a vertical-shoot-positioning trellis and canopy management system, allowing for crop control and increased fruit exposure to wind and sunlight. The expansive diurnal variations of this vineyard, due to its proximity to San Pablo Bay, allows even ripening of the fruit with the preservation of acidity.

The aromas & flavors are compiled of just-ripe red fruits, cherry & cranberry predominantly, spice and the perfect acid that makes your mouth water.
