Our story

Melier was born from a simple realization: many of the world’s best wines never reach the people who would love them most because they don't get the chance to taste them.

In April 2020, longtime entrepreneur Greg McBeth and wine industry veteran Dan Zepponi connected over a glass of wine, and a shared belief that the traditional wine buying experience was broken. Too often, consumers were expected to purchase bottles based on scores or labels — without knowing whether it aligned with their personal tastes.

Together, they saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between boutique wineries and modern wine drinkers looking for something more personal: exceptional wines, authentic stories, and the ability to buy with absolute confidence.
