These 25-year old vines are planted in the 56.5-acre Pelissa Vineyard, which is located behind Ghost Block's tasting room in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. This 11-acre block of Zinfandel is head-trained, cane-pruned, and dry-farmed to achieve optimum vine balance. The fruit produced from these vines are characterized by small-medium sized berries with deep color extraction. As with all of their properties, this vineyard is family owned and certified organic.
