Pinot Grigio, a descendant of Pinot Noir, is a versatile grape that truly expresses the site it was grown on. Ghost Block has nearly 12 acres of their Block House Vineyard dedicated to this variety. Block House is located in the Yountville Appellation of Napa Valley and farmed organically. This vineyard is an excellent site for all Pinot varietals, as the combination of our East-West row orientation, along with the cooling breeze originating from San Pablo Bay help to preserve the acidity and aromatics of the fruit. Ghost Block's Pinot Grigio was planted in 2006 using clone 9, which originates from the Alsace region of France.
