Elizabeth Rose Pinot Blanc

Ghost Block's Pinot Blanc is grown in The Block House Vineyard, a property in the Yountville Appellation of Napa which has been certified-organic since 1993. Approximately 9 acres of this varietal were planted in Block House in 2001 utilizing the Wente clone. Pinot Blanc is a white grape variety as a result of a mutation, arising from its genetically unstable parent – Pinot Noir. The Block House Vineyard is the perfect site for the Pinot family, due to the cooling winds from San Pablo bay and our East-West row orientation to protect the acidity and aromatics of these varietals.
