2022 Four Rows Chardonnay

This premium and select, Russian River Valley Chardonnay, is aged sur lees for 9 months in 100% French Oak barrels, 50% new. The barreled wine is currently going through secondary fermentation and exhibits early signs of something special. Aromas of honeysuckle and lemon blossom, give way to pineapple, cream and butterscotch. Still in its developmental infancy the palate shows burgeoning notes of Meyer lemon, curd and baking spices. Expectations of a lingering medium toast finish leave this wine expected to be a rich and full bodied classic.
