Zeitgeist Cellars takes its name from a German Romanticist concept — the spirit of the times. The idea is that wine is more than a beverage; it's a record of a moment, a vintage, a shared sensibility. With each bottling, husband-and-wife winemaking team Jennifer Williams and Mark Porembski set out to capture exactly that: wine that reflects the era it came from.
Based in St. Helena, Zeitgeist sources from a carefully chosen handful of Napa Valley vineyards — each with its own character and story. The Lewelling Ranch in St. Helena, farmed by the same family since the 1860s. The Farella Vineyard in Coombsville, one of Napa's cooler foothills. The Sleeping Lady Vineyard in Yountville, which earned a perfect score from critic Jeb Dunnuck. The Oakville Station, surrounded on three sides by the legendary To Kalon. Production is intentionally small — every step handled by Jen and Mark themselves.
