2022 Mount Veeder Cabernet Franc

The 2022 Amentet Cabernet Franc displays that gorgeous, Right Bank perfume that is unusual outside of Pomerol. The wine is structured and classic with chewy fruit, supple tannins and an essence of sweet herbs and minerality. It is a wine with plenty of structure for the cellar, but it is balanced enough to enjoy on release with a good decant. We chose to hold back the 2022 a little later, even though the 2021 wine sold out ahead of schedule, in order for the sturdy tannins to integrate further into the wine.
