The Anderson Valley's Deep End is defined by its maritime influence — cool temperatures, coastal fog rolling in from the Pacific, and a long, slow growing season that gives Pinot Noir time to develop complexity without losing freshness. Lula's estate vineyard and sourcing from neighboring sites like the renowned Ferrington Vineyard capture that character directly.
Winemaker Matt Parish, a New Zealand native who has called Northern California home for over 15 years, joined Lula in 2017 with more than 30 vintages of experience and hundreds of 90+ rated wines across various brands and styles. His focus is Pinot Noir that is approachable without being simple — wines with genuine personality, regional specificity, and the kind of drinkability that brings people back. Vineyard Manager Norman Kobler, whose parents founded Lazy Creek Vineyard in the Anderson Valley and who has farmed this region for over 47 years, oversees the estate and Ferrington Vineyard blocks.
