2019 El Coro Pinot Noir
Regular price
$70.00
El Coro Vineyard sits at the Keller Estate's ridge-top, with loamy soils that are heavily exposed to the Petaluma Gap winds. The open exposure has a dramatic effect on the thickness of the skins and leads to intense fruit and bright acidity. They have an array of clones planted here, 828, 666, 777, Swan, and LT, which add layers of complexity to this Pinot Noir.
The El Coro Pinot Noir shows an array of bright hibiscus, vanilla, damp earth, and dark cherry aromas. In the mouth, layers of classic flavors like black cherry, forest floor, and pomegranate encounter exhibits of red plum and cassis. The fine tannins are rounded out with a hint of cedar and cinnamon in the finish. There is a juxtaposition of intensity and delicacy with this wine.
