2021 Barbaresco DOCG "Canova"

Cascina Vano's Barbaresco Canova is sourced from two different estate vineyards in Neive — one with southeastern exposure, one southwestern — each harvested and fermented separately with a 20-day maceration. The wine pours a beautiful bright ruby, offering a dazzling bouquet of ripe brambly fruits accented with notes of leather, cigar box and purple flowers. The full-bodied palate exhibits flavors of rich dark cherry and blackberry preserves mixed with hints of forest floor and anise. Uplifting acidity and firm, well-integrated tannins guide you to a finish of depth, elegance and complexity.
