Alberto Oggero

Alberto Oggero is a small, family-run winery based in Santo Stefano Roero, in the Piedmont region of Italy. Alberto works with just 4 hectares of vineyards, all located in his hometown and once farmed by his grandfather. He focuses on two local grapes—Nebbiolo and Arneis—using only natural methods and no chemicals in the vineyard.

His winemaking is simple and traditional: native yeast, minimal intervention, and aging in concrete or old wood barrels. The result is clean, expressive wines that truly reflect the land they come from. Oggero’s Nebbiolo is fresh, earthy, and structured, while his Arneis is crisp, salty, and full of character.
