The deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville needs a little coaxing to reveal gorgeous scents of plum preserves, blackcurrant cordial, star anise and mulberries with nuances of fallen leaves, candied violets, tapenade and wild sage. The full-bodied palate is wonderfully concentrated, laden with black fruit and fragrant floral and earth layers, supported by firm yet velvety tannins and bold freshness, finishing on a lingering peppery note.
