EXPERIENCE

Few things in life inspire the senses like the perfect pairing of great wine and food. We believe that the best pairings reflect each element's place and time, and our team at Melier is excited to share with you a unique sensory experience at our inaugural wine & culinary concept to be hosted in Austin.

This experience is structured as a progressive (yes, just like the ones you did in college - minus the cheap vodka). We'll be featuring a portfolio of 6 incredible wines from two of Napa's premier vintners, Keplinger and Blackbird, poured by Proprietors DJ Warner and Deanna Basham, who will be onsite to share their stories and their wines with you. 

Each wine will be paired with courses prepared by four of Austin's premier local chefs, in partnership with Tivity. After you complete the progressive, you'll be invited to hang out and enjoy additional wine, food, and music for the remainder of the evening. Planned pairings are below (subject to change based on availability):

Room 1:

Wine: Blackbird Dissonance Sauvignon Blanc

Pairing: Oyster Bar, by Lazo Oysters

Room 2:

Wines: Keplinger El Dorado White Rhone Blend

Pairing: Sushi trio, by Chef Damon Cook

Room 3

Wine: Blackbird Arise Bordeaux Blend and Keplinger El Diablo Grenache

Pairing: Potato and crab canapés, and a white gazpacho shooter, by Chef Marcia Garcia

Room 4:

Wine: Blackbird Illustration Cabernet Sauvignon and Keplinger Hangman's Syrah

Pairing: Rolled lasanga and Njuda toast, by Chef Che Cazzo

VENUE

Your experience will be hosted at a beautiful private home in Tarrytown. All registered attendees will receive directions to the venue included with their ticket via email.

TICKETS

Tickets are $195pp and includes full access to the event, and all food and wine. Early bird pricing of $165pp is available for a limited time.

Take-home wine will be also be available for purchase on site.
